Community Guidelines
Last updated: 28 August 2026
These Guidelines protect users and help Wasla comply with EU rules (including the DSA). Violations may lead to content removal, feature limits, or account suspension.
1. Be truthful & respectful
- No harassment, threats, doxxing, or hate based on protected characteristics.
- No misleading event titles, fake locations, or bait-and-switch pricing.
- Respect audience labels (e.g. sisters-/brothers-only) and venue norms.
2. Illegal and prohibited content / activities
Do not post or organise anything that is illegal where the event takes place or where you live. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for sexual content and abuse on Wasla.
No sexual content
We are against nudity, pornography, sexual content, sexual abuse, exploitation, grooming, and anything sexual. That includes:
- nude, partially nude, or sexually suggestive photos, videos, or avatars;
- sexualised descriptions, invitations, or event titles (including “hook-up” or dating-for-sex listings);
- solicitation of sexual acts, paid sexual services, or sharing of intimate imagery;
- non-consensual intimate imagery and sexual harassment;
- child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any exploitation of minors — we report to authorities where required.
Automated photo checks. Avatars and cover images are scanned before they are stored. We block images that look like nudity, sexual content, or sexual exploitation (including content that appears to involve minors). Known CSAM hashes are also matched via Cloudflare’s CSAM Scanning Tool when enabled on our domain. Automated tools can miss or mis-flag content — report anything we missed via Notice & action.
Other prohibited illegal content and activities include:
- incitement to violence, terrorism, or hatred;
- fraud, scams, phishing, or sale of illegal goods/services;
- IP infringement, counterfeits, or unauthorised use of brands;
- events that clearly endanger public safety or violate venue/licensing law.
3. Safety at events
- Hosts must choose safe, lawful venues and communicate risks clearly.
- No events primarily promoting substance abuse or illegal gambling.
- Alcohol policy labels must be honest.
4. Payments, restricted businesses & payouts
Hosts who collect ticket money through Wasla (Wasla Checkout + Stripe Connect) must not operate in a Stripe restricted business category or sell restricted products. We review hosts and listings for compliance and may refuse or suspend payouts. Hosts must complete Stripe onboarding truthfully, keep refund practices clear, cooperate on chargebacks, and provide extra information when we or Stripe request it for risk or remediation. See the Terms of Service (Stripe Connect marketplace) and Dashboard → Payouts.
Hosts who use external payment links (Tikkie, PayPal, Stripe Payment Link, etc.) remain responsible for lawful collection and refunds. Wasla does not process those payments, but we may review published links and related activity to detect fraud, scams, and illegal use. We may remove links, restrict accounts, and refer suspicious activity to competent authorities for investigation where appropriate.
5. Spam & platform abuse
- No scraping, bots that harm the Service, or circumvention of paywalls.
- No mass fake accounts or manipulation of bookings/capacity.
- No payment fraud, friendly-fraud abuse, or fake ticket schemes.
6. Enforcement
We may act on reports, trusted flaggers, payment-risk signals, or obvious illegal content. Actions can include removal, Connect/payout blocks, subscription blocks, and bans. Repeat offenders may be permanently excluded. See Notice & action. When a host account is affected by risk or fraud mitigation, we notify the host and guide remediation where we can.
7. Appeals
If you believe we made an error, email support@wasla.club with the event URL/id and reason. We will review in good faith.
